The Axe and the Throne - IndieReaderWork slowed along with the slowing sales of book 1, and there was need to temporarily refocus on those things that pay bills. There should be time in to finish what was started. Most importantly, the writing goes well when there is time for it, and book 2 is just as exciting to me as the first. Work continues on book 2. The majority of the book was completed in the first half of , but the second half of the year fell mostly to other obligations--I cannot afford to write full time. Hoping for a release. Though some have managed to correctly answer even the hardest riddles, none have gotten them all correct in a single submission.
The Axe and the Throne: Volume 1 (Bounds of Redemption)
Publisher: Createspace. A horde of marauding barbarians from the North with a secret agenda, a man who seeks revenge on these barbarians by any means necessary, a scheming palace eunuch, and a young servant girl from islands to the south—these are just some of the many characters who inhabit the world of M. The novel is dark and full of the harsh realities of the lives of it characters. And also, it is quite convoluted, the separate characters and story arcs cycling back and forth, with the connections between the different people and events not always immediately apparent, and sometimes never even fully established, perhaps to be the domain of future sequels. The characters, for one thing, tend to be fairly well drawn. Titon is a furious Northman with a budding conscience, but not in the ways you might expect.
